It goes without saying, but I’ll say it. Our world, country and state are in crisis mode, but we can’t give up. We each must serve our communities as best we can, with whatever resources we’re able to share. I’ve realized that I must honor the aging and wear and tear on mind, body and spirit if I’m to best serve myself and those for whom I care. This is a constantly evolving process. Wow! What a year/decade! it’s been. And it may get worse before all or some of the hopeful checks and balances kick in. In the interim, the Lord has given us margaritas, humor, music and some modicum of patience to help us cope.
